What this site is
VettedHeater publishes water heater guides and a directory of San Diego County pros checked against public CSLB records. It is free to use.
We are not a contractor or a broker
We are not a plumber, a contractor or a contractor referral service, and we don't do, arrange, supervise or guarantee any work. Pros listed here are independent businesses, and any agreement you make is between you and the pro. Before you hire anyone, check their license yourself at cslb.ca.gov, get a written quote, and ask about permits.
Information on this site
We show the date we last checked each listing, but records change and we can make mistakes. Costs in our guides are typical ranges from cited sources, not quotes. Everything here is general information, not professional, plumbing, legal or financial advice.
Shortlist requests
If you send a shortlist request, we use your details only as our privacy policy describes. A request doesn't create a contract with us or any pro, and we can't promise a reply, a price or availability.
Affiliate disclosure
We have no paid partners today. In the future some links may be affiliate links, which will be labeled where they appear; if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Payment never affects which pros we list or their order. See how we make money.
Links to other sites
We link to pros, government sites and other websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products or services.
Acceptable use
Please don't scrape the site in bulk, try to break or overload it, or submit false or abusive requests.
No warranty and limit of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, VettedHeater isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from work done by any pro you find here.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Not a contractor; referral fees
VettedHeater is a referral directory, not a licensed contractor. You hire and pay the licensed pro directly.
Referral fees: no pro pays VettedHeater today. If a pro ever pays us a referral fee, we will say so next to that listing, and payment will never change which pros we list or their order. See how we make money.
