About VettedHeater

VettedHeater is an independent directory of San Diego County water heater pros, checked against public California license records.

What we do

We list water heater installers and repair pros in San Diego County, A–Z, and publish plain-English guides on costs, permits, tankless vs tank and sizing. Using the site is free.

How we check pros

Every listed pro has an active license on the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) public lookup and shows evidence of water heater work. Each listing shows when we last checked it. Read how we verify.

What we are not

We are not a plumber, a contractor or a referral service, and we're not affiliated with the CSLB or any government agency. We don't do or guarantee any work.

How we make money

Today we have no paid partners and no pro has paid to be listed. Payment can never buy a listing or a higher position. See how we make money.
