What we collect

VettedHeater doesn't require an account. When you search, the ZIP or city you type is used in your browser to show results. If we turn on analytics (Google Analytics 4), it records page views and clicks with standard device and approximate location data.

Forms

If you use our shortlist request form, we collect your name, phone, email, ZIP code and the details you choose about your water heater job. We use them only to email you about your request; VettedHeater has no phone line and does not call or text. We share your details with a named installer only if you ask us to, and then only with the installers you pick, who may contact you by email or phone (including calls or texts that may be automated). Consent is not a condition of purchase. We store them with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and send them by email (Resend) only to VettedHeater's own inbox. We don't share them with any pro unless you ask us to, and we don't sell them. To have your request deleted, email us.

Google Ads tag

Our pages load the Google tag for Google Ads (AW-18531949356) along with Google Analytics, after the page has loaded. Ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization are set to denied by default (Google Consent Mode), so no advertising cookies are set by default. It can record that a page was viewed or a form was submitted so we can measure ads. All our ads are currently paused. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Cookies

Analytics, if enabled, uses cookies. You can block them in your browser.

California rights

California residents can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it. We don't sell personal information.
